geography

The village is in a forest clearing. In the southwest lies the Lichtenschlag, in the north the Frickinger Wald, in the east the Eichelgarten and in the southeast the Rappenholz. The Rappengraben, which flows 1.5 km further east as a right tributary into the Hühnerbächlein, rises in the village, a right tributary of the Sulzach . The Mauspoint corridor area borders immediately to the southeast.

A community connecting road leads over the Goschenhof to the district road AN 42 near Flinsberg (0.9 km north) or to a community connecting road (2.1 km south) between Hopfengarten and Dinkelsbühl . Other communal roads lead to Hellenbach (2.3 km southwest) and Hopfengarten (1.2 km south).

history

The Fraisch over Neuses was controversial. It was claimed by the Ansbach Oberamt Wassertrüdingen , the Oettingen-Spielberg Oberamt Dürrwangen and the imperial city of Dinkelsbühl . The imperial city of Dinkelsbühl held the village and community rulership as well as the lordship over all properties. In 1732 the place consisted of 8 properties and a communal shepherd's house. Towards the end of the 18th century, there were 10 properties, all of them from Dinkelsbühl (Protestant church maintenance: 1 good; rear room maintenance: 2 half farms; Catholic church maintenance: 1 good; sick care: 4 half farm goods, 2 half farms) and a community shepherd's house. From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the Justice and Chamber Office Feuchtwangen .

In 1806 Neuses came to the Kingdom of Bavaria . As a result of the community Edict Neuses 1809 was the control district tuft hole and Rural community Lehengütingen assigned. With the second community edict (1818) the rural community Neuses was formed, to which Flinsberg and Goschenhof belonged. It was subordinate to the Dinkelsbühl regional court in terms of administration and jurisdiction and to the Dinkelsbühl tax office ( renamed Dinkelsbühl tax office in 1919 , Ansbach tax office since 1973 ). The jurisdiction remained with the District Court of Dinkelsbühl until 1879, from 1879 to 1973 the District Court of Dinkelsbühl was responsible, which has been a branch of the District Court of Ansbach since 1973 . The administration was taken over by the newly created Dinkelsbühl district office in 1862 (renamed the Dinkelsbühl district in 1938 ). With the dissolution of the Dinkelsbühl district in 1972, Neuses came to the Ansbach district. In 1961 the municipality had an area of 3.170 km². In the course of the regional reform in Bavaria , this was incorporated into Dürrwangen on January 1, 1971.
