Obermühle is a former part of the market Dürrwangen in the district of Ansbach in Middle Franconia .

geography

The former wasteland has been opened up as house number 32 on Sulzacher Strasse since the 1970s. The building is located on the Sulzach and Weihergraben, which flows into the Sulzach on the right.

history

Obermühle was in the Fraisch district of the Ansbach Oberamt Feuchtwangen , but this was disputed by the Oberamt Dürrwangen in Oettingen-Spielberg . The Feuchtwangen caste office was the landlord of the grinding and cutting mill . Nothing in these conditions changed until the end of the Old Kingdom . From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the Justice and Chamber Office Feuchtwangen . When the house numbers were assigned, the property was given the number 117 of the village of Dürrwangen.

As a result of the community edict, Obermühle was assigned to the tax district and the rural community of Dürrwangen in 1809 . The property included around 5.5  hectares of arable and green areas.
