IC 1916 is a bar-spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SB in the constellation Horologium in the southern sky . It is estimated to be 521 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 100,000 ly.
In the same area of ​​the sky is the galaxy IC 1914 .

The object was discovered on December 6, 1899 by DeLisle Stewart .
