IC 1918 is a compact galaxy of Hubble type S? in the constellation Taurus on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 414 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 50,000 ly.

The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on December 22nd, 1898 .
