IC 1902 is a lens-shaped galaxy of the Hubble type S0 / a in the constellation Perseus in the northern sky . It is an estimated 319 million light years from the Milky Way and about 35,000 light years in diameter. Together with IC 1900 and IC 1901 , it forms the isolated galaxy trio KTG 10 .
The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on January 18, 1898 .
