IC 1913 is a bar-spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBb? in the constellation Fornax in the southern sky . It is estimated to be 60 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 35,000 ly. 
In the same area of the sky is the galaxy NGC 1288 .
The property was discovered by DeLisle Stewart in 1899 .
