IC 1885 is a faint spiral galaxy of the Hubble type Sc in the constellation Fornax south of the southern sky . It is estimated to be 208 million light years from the Milky Way and about 90,000 light years in diameter.
The property was discovered by DeLisle Stewart in 1899 .
