IC 4028 is a bar-spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBc in the constellation Hounds in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 373 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 75,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky are the galaxies IC 3967 , IC 3997 , IC 4049 , IC 4069 .
The object was discovered by Max Wolf on March 21, 1903 .
