Ida Glanzmann-Hunkeler
Ida Glanzmann-Hunkeler (born September 29, 1958 in Zofingen , canton Aargau ; resident in Altishofen ) is a Swiss politician ( CVP ) and vice-president of CVP Switzerland.
Life
From 1995 to 2006 she was active as a member of the legislature of the Canton of Lucerne . Between 1997 and 2004 she was Vice President of the CVP Canton of Lucerne. From 2001 to 2009 she presided over the CVP Women Switzerland .
Glanzmann-Hunkeler has been a member of the Swiss National Council since September 18, 2006 . As part of her parliamentary mandate, she is a member of the Business Audit Commission and the Security Policy Commission as well as a delegate to the Parliamentary Assembly of the OSCE .
She is a member of the working group security and defense technology (ASUW) and in 2013 founded at the initiative of beverage manufacturers lobby group for sweet drinks IG soft drinks.
Glanzmann-Hunkeler lives in Altishofen . She is a clerk and has three children. One of her great-great-grandfathers was Josef Zemp , the first non- liberal Federal Councilor in Switzerland. Through him she is also related to her party and council colleague Barbara Schmid-Federer , also Zemp's great-great-granddaughter.
