Jagoš Vuković ( Serbian - Cyrillic Јагош Вуковић , born June 10, 1988 in Bačko Dobro Polje , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a Serbian football player who is under contract with Olympiacos .
Career
The defender began his professional career in his home country at FK Red Star Belgrade . There he could not assert himself and then switched to FK Rad . After he was able to establish himself as a regular player at the club, he was promoted to the SuperLiga , the highest Serbian league, with the team . He came into the spotlight of the Dutch club PSV Eindhoven , which initially took him under contract for a year on loan in August 2009.
He played his first league game in the Eredivisie on November 22, 2009 in the home game against Heracles Almelo . He ran on the field as a substitute for defender Erik Pieters in the 77th minute and marked the end of the game with his goal to make it 4-0 ten minutes later. Although Vuković completed only a few competitive games for PSV by the end of the 2009/10 season , he received a new contract until 2013 in April 2010. For the 2011/12 season, the league rival Roda Kerkrade loaned him from PSV. After returning to Eindhoven, he is part of the second team's squad.
In January 2014 Vuković moved to the Turkish first division club Torku Konyaspor . With this club, he finished the first division season 2015/16 as third in the table and thus belonged to the team that had the best first division placement in the club's history to date. One season later, he was also part of the squad that won the Turkish Cup for the first time in the club's history and thus achieved the greatest success in the club's history to date.
For the 2017/18 season he was from the Greek club Olympiacos Piraeus . In January 2018, Vuković was awarded to Hellas Verona .
