Joan Pringle (born June 2, 1945 in New York City , New York ) is an American film, television and theater actress .

Life

Pringle is known for numerous roles in television productions. In the 1970s, she played Diana Sanger in the crime series Der Chef (1974–1975), Tracy Curtis Taylor in the comedy series That's My Mama (1975) and Sybil Buchanan in the drama series The White Shadow (1978–1981). . The latter role brought her the 1980 Image Award in the category "Best Actress in a Series - Drama". From 1982 to 1984 she was Dr. Patricia Mason seen on the General Hospital soap opera . From 1989 to 1991 she played Ruth Marshall in the soap opera Generations , for which she received a Soap Opera Digest Award nomination in 1991 in the category “Outstanding Supporting Actress: Daytime”. In the comedy series One on One , she appeared as Eunice Barnes from 2001 to 2003. She also had numerous appearances in other television series, including Notruf California (1973), Roc (1992–1993), Models Inc. (1994), Reich und Schön (1995), JAG - On behalf of honor (1999–2001) and Girlfriends (2004-2007) belong. She also played in a number of films, such as Christella in Arthur Marks ' mystery thriller Revenge from the Beyond (1976), as Doria in Norman Jewison's comedy Two Big Friends (1982) and as Sara in Michael Cristofer's erotic thriller Original Sin (2001).
