Johan Bertilsson (born February 15, 1988 in Hova ) is a Swedish football player . The striker has made his previous career in Sweden and Poland.
Career
Bertilsson played at Hova IF in his youth before moving to Carlstad United BK as a teenager and U-15 international . He made his adult debut in 2004 when he was in the third division. At the end of 2005 he qualified with the club for the newly created third-class Division 1 . Here he, who had gone through the youth selections of Svenska Fotbollförbundet up to the U-18 national team , attracted attention in the debut season and joined the second division Degerfors IF in early 2007 . After relegation at the end of the second division season in 2008 , he remained loyal to the club, with which he managed the direct return to the Superettan . In the third division season in 2009 he formed a dangerous storm duo with Peter Samuelsson and contributed twelve goals this season to the championship in the northern season.
After Bertilsson had shone with six goals in 13 league games in the first half of the second division season in 2010 , he signed a contract with first division club Kalmar FF in June of that year, which was valid until 2014 . In the Allsvenskan , however, he did not gain a foothold, so in July 2012 the club loaned him to the second division Jönköpings Södra IF . With a goal in 13 games, however, he also fell short of expectations, so that he returned to Kalmar FF at the end of the year and was then awarded again. For the entire second division season in 2013 he returned to Degerfors IF. He returned to his old strength, with 16 goals this season, he placed second with Gabriel Altemark-Vanneryr behind Victor Sköld in the scorers list. In addition, he just missed promotion to the Swedish House of Lords with the club as fourth.
In January 2014, Kalmar FF Bertilsson sold half a year before the end of the contract to the Polish club Zagłębie Lubin , where the player signed a two-year contract. His stay in the Ekstraklasa was short-lived, however, as the club in relegation battle ended the 2013/14 season in last place in the table. Bertilsson was without his own goal, the club remained in the relegation round without their own victory.
In August 2014 Bertilsson returned to Sweden, where he signed a two and a half year contract with Gefle IF . In the second half of the 2014 season he was only able to play the role of supplementary player in Allsvenskan, and he was a substitute player in ten of his eleven league appearances. In the following season, however, he had established himself as a regular under coach Roger Sandberg and was in the starting line-up in all 30 championship games, with six goals this season he contributed to staying tenth in the table. In the 2016 season he was the club's top scorer with eight goals this season, but under Sandberg and his successor Thomas Andersson the success failed and the team ended the season on a relegation zone.
In November 2016 Östersunds signed FK Bertilsson, where he signed a contract until the end of 2019. Under coach Graham Potter he wavered between starting line-up and bench. So he sat in the final of the Swedish National Cup in April 2017 against IFK Norrköping the complete playing time on the bench when the team by a 4: 1 victory with goals from Samuel Mensiro , Hosam Aiesh , Alhaji Gero and Saman Ghoddos at a conceding won the title by Linus Wahlqvist and the club qualified for the European Cup for the first time . In the 2017/18 UEFA Europa League , the team reached the group stage after successes over Galatasaray Istanbul , CS Fola Esch and PAOK Thessaloniki , and he was substituted on by Potter in all six qualifying matches.
