John Yeboah Zamora (born June 23, 2000 in Hamburg ) is a German football player . The winger has been under contract with VVV-Venlo as a loan player from VfL Wolfsburg in the Netherlands since the beginning of September 2019 and is a young German national player.
Career
societies
Yeboah, the son of a Ghanaian and a German, first played futsal . He later started playing football and came to VfL Wolfsburg in 2015 via SV Rönneburg and FC Türkiye Wilhelmsburg . Since the 2017/18 season , Yeboah has been playing with the Wolves A-Youth in the A-Junior Bundesliga . In the 2018/19 season, the striker was second on the top scorers list with 20 goals. On November 3, 2018, Yeboah was used by coach Bruno Labbadia for the first time in the first team of Wolfsburg and made his debut in the 0-1 home defeat against Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga .
After Yeboah made 5 appearances (4 goals) in the second team in the fourth-class Regionalliga Nord at the beginning of the 2019/20 season , he moved to the Dutch first division club VVV-Venlo in early September 2019 until the end of the season . The winger made 18 league games for Venlo (one goal and one assist each) and 2 games for the youth team (5 goals). With Venlo, he was in 13th place in the table when the season was canceled prematurely due to the COVID-19 pandemic .
National team
Yeboah has been playing for the DFB's junior national teams since 2016 . With the U17 selection he played at the U17 European Championship in Croatia in May 2017 and failed with his team in the semifinals at what would later become European champions Spain . In October 2017 , he and the team also took part in the U17 World Cup in India , where they reached the quarter- finals. Yeboah has been part of the U20 national team since September 2019 .
