Kadłubski Piec (German: blast furnace ) is a village in Poland in Upper Silesia in the municipality Strzelce Opolskie (Groß Strehlitz) in the Powiat Strzelecki in the Opole Voivodeship .

Kadłubski Piec is twelve kilometers north of the municipality and the district town of Strzelce Opolskie and 26 kilometers east of the voivodeship capital Opole .

Neighboring towns of Kadłubski Piec are Kadłub (Kadlub) in the west and Osiek (Oschieck) in the east .

history

Until 1945 the place was in the district of Groß Strehlitz and belonged to the village of Starenheim .

In 1945 the previously German place came under Polish administration and was renamed Kadłubski Piec and joined the Silesian Voivodeship. In 1950 the place came to the Opole Voivodeship . In 1999 the place came to the re-established Powiat Strzelecki .
