The Canton Chatellerault-Ouest was 2015 a French constituency in Arrondissement Châtellerault in the department of Vienne and the region Poitou-Charentes ; its main town was Châtellerault . His representative in the Conseil Régional was Michel Guérin ( PS ) from 2011 to 2015 .
The canton was in the north of the Vienne department. In the west it bordered the cantons of Châtellerault-Nord and Châtellerault-Sud , in the north on the canton Dangé-Saint-Romain , in the east on the canton Pleumartin and in the south on the canton Vouneuil-sur-Vienne . It was on average 74 meters above sea level , between 42 m in Châtellerault and 166 m in Thuré .
