Karl Albert Asal (born July 17, 1859 in Durlach ; † November 8, 1929 in Karlsruhe ) was a lawyer in the Baden state service since 1886 .

Karl Asal was born as the son of Karl Asal, district forester in Durlach and Pauline nee Krauth from Heiligenberg . Karl Asal married on May 3, 1888, Klara, born Hildenbrand (born January 6, 1867 in Offenburg , † October 26 in Weinheim ), daughter of the mill owner Louis Hildenbrand from Offenburg. Lacher's marriage had four children: Karl Ludwig (* May 5, 1889 in Waldshut ; † April 27, 1984 in Freiburg im Breisgau ), Walther Egon (* June 14, 1891 in Bruchsal ), Hans Georg (* April 1, 1893 in Tauberbischofsheim ) and Hildegard Clara Pauline (born June 13, 1899 in Adelsheim ).

Life

After primary school in Wolfach and Villingen in the Black Forest , Asal attended the high school in Villingen and from July 20, 1872 the grammar school in Weinheim, where he passed the Abitur in 1878. From the winter semester 1878/79 he studied law at the University of Würzburg , in the winter semester 1879/80 at the University of Leipzig , in the summer semester 1880 at the University of Berlin , in the winter semester 1880/81 at the University of Leipzig and then at the University of Heidelberg , where he Graduated in 1882. In 1883 he was a legal trainee and trainee at the Weinheim district court and in 1884 second actuary at the Achern district office . After various internship positions, he became a service administrator at the Weinheim District Office and the Eppingen District Office in 1886 .

From August 23, 1886, he was the second official at the Offenburg district office and then went to the Waldshut district office where he worked as an assistant from January 8, 1887. On April 25, 1887 he was a service administrator at the St. Blasien district office , where he continued on June 18, 1888 at the Säckingen district office . On April 3, 1889, he became a service administrator at the Bonndorf district office and on April 3, 1890 he returned to the St. Blasien district office, where he continued his profession as a service administrator.

On October 1, 1890, Karl Asal became a clerk at the Bruchsal district office , where he then took over the position at the Tauberbischofsheim district office on June 6, 1892 . From June 11, 1894, he became senior bailiff and board member at the Adelsheim district office and changed his location on June 14, 1899 at the Ettenheim district office and on July 17, 1902 at the Ettlingen district office .

Karl Asal became a secret councilor on July 27, 1906, and on November 15, 1909, he was appointed head of the Schwetzingen district office. He was given leave of absence on November 20, 1918 for health reasons, but from April 16, 1919, he was active as a member of the administrative court in Karlsruhe and on April 1, 1920, he became a senior councilor and deputy to the president of the administrative court in Karlsruhe. On July 31, 1924, Karl Asal was retired.
