Karl Friedrich Köhn von Jaski (born September 13, 1771 in Klein-Ossecken , † December 19, 1852 in Berlin ) was a Prussian lieutenant general and second in command of the Berlin house of invalids .

His parents were Franz Ernst Köhn von Jaski and his wife Eva Jakobine, née von Schlochow. The father was a border customs officer and second lieutenant a. D. , most recently in the "von Itzenplitz" infantry regiment . His brother Andreas Ernst became a Prussian lieutenant general.

Military career

Jaski visited the cadet houses in Stolp and Berlin . Then he was hired on March 12, 1790 as a sergeant in the infantry regiment "von Kleist" of the Prussian army . On July 17, 1790, he was transferred to the regiment's depot battalion as an ensign, assigned to the regiment on January 7, 1791 and promoted to second lieutenant on May 17, 1793. After the war, Jaski was appointed commander of the 12th Landwehr Regiment on July 21, 1816. On March 30, 1822 he was promoted to lieutenant colonel with a patent from April 21, 1822 and June 18, 1825 he came to the fortress of Cosel as a commander . There he was promoted to colonel with a patent from April 9, 1828 on March 30, 1830 , before he was transferred to the Küstrin Fortress on December 19, 1828 as commandant . On March 30, 1836 he received the character of major general and on the occasion of his 50th anniversary of service on January 26, 1837, the Order of the Red Eagle, 2nd class with oak leaves. On June 11, 1839 he became major general with a patent from March 30, 1836 and lieutenant general on March 30, 1844 - albeit with the same salary.
