Kirchditmold is one of 23 districts of the north Hessian city of Kassel ( Hesse , Germany ).
location
It borders on Bad Wilhelmshöhe , Harleshausen , Rothenditmold and the Vorderer West . Kirchditmold was incorporated into Kassel in 1906. Even today, this district has village-like structures, for example the Kirchditmold church is located in the center of the district, in which the shopping streets Teichstrasse and Zentgrafenstrasse are also located.
The west of Kirchditmold, which is directly adjacent to the Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe , is one of the upscale residential areas of the city of Kassel.
history
During the Seven Years' War , Kirchditmold was a center of disputes. Numerous fights and troop movements took place, which the pastor Johann Christoph Cuntz recorded in detail.

The district can be reached by public transport in Kassel via tram line 8 and bus lines 11, 12, 14 and 110.
In addition, since the end of April 2008, the district has been connected to the Regiotram network through the construction of a new train station.
In the north, Kirchditmold is affected by federal road 251 . From 1944 to 1962 a trolleybus drove between Kirchditmold, Harleshausen and Wilhelmshöhe .
