The Kleiner Kraichbach nature reserve is located in the area of the towns of Kraichtal and Östringen in the Karlsruhe district in Baden-Württemberg .

The area extends north of Oberöwisheim , a district of Kraichtal. The Kleine Kraichbach , a right tributary of the Kraichbach , flows through the area .

For Kraichtal and Östringen, a 100.7 hectare area has been designated as a nature reserve under the identification number 2.129 since April 5, 1990 . It is a "near-natural Kraichgau landscape with characteristic Keuper marl slopes , sunken paths , stepped areas and valley meadows rich in springs ."
