The Kohlhof Island is a small uninhabited island near Burgtiefe in the Burger Binnensee , part of the Baltic Sea , south of Burg on Fehmarn .

The oval island has a diameter of about 250 meters from north to south and a diameter of about 210 meters from east to west. The streets Am Yachthafen and Strandstraße are located directly on the Fehmarner Ufer, 100 and 70 meters from the island, respectively, and provide access to the south beach of Burgtiefe.

Entering the Kohlhof Island is prohibited. It houses an undeveloped green area with a few trees and serves as a breeding ground for birds. It therefore serves as a nature reserve.
