The Kleine Wotig is an island in the northern Peene River in the area of the municipality of Kröslin . The island is east of the town of Hollendorf. Since the 20th century, the small Wotig, which is around 7 hectares in size, has been silted up with the large pipe plan that adjoins it to the south and covers around 25 hectares . In the west, both sub-islands are separated from the mainland by the Alte Peene, a branch of the Peene River.

Together with the large Wotig to the northwest , the small Wotig was mentioned in the Wolgast town register of 1574 as an urban pastureland ("Wische"). It was used until grazing was abandoned in 1965. From 1980 onwards, the Kleine Wotig and the Großer Rohrplan were surrounded by dykes up to 3 meters high in order to use them as a rinsing area. This led to the complete devastation of the islands.
