The German Baltic Sea island of Wührens lies between the islands of Rügen and Ummanz . With a maximum extension of 230 by 80 meters, it has an area of ​​1.73 hectares and only rises just above sea level. The island is uninhabited and only overgrown with grass. It is surrounded by the neighboring islands of Liebes in the west, Urkevitz in the east and Moravia in the north. It is the smallest of the four islands in the Wittenberger and Focker currents .

The island is located in the protection zone II (maintenance and development zone) of the Western Pomerania Lagoon Area National Park and, as a bird sanctuary, may not be entered without a permit. Administratively, the island belongs to the municipality of Ummanz .
