The uninhabited island of Barther Oie (spoken: short "Oi") belongs to the municipality of Zingst in the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and is located in the Barther Bodden between the town of Barth and the Zingst peninsula.
The Baltic Sea island has an area of around 68 hectares and, like its sister island Kirr, rises only one meter above sea level. Today the island is a nature reserve in the Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft National Park .
