Kong Lingwei ( Chinese  孔令 微 ; born July 28, 1995 in Boli ) is a Chinese sprinter .

Athletic career

Kong Lingwei made his first international appearance at the IAAF World Relays 2014 in the Bahamas , where he was eliminated from the preliminary round with the Chinese 4 x 100 meter relay. At the Asian Games in Incheon , South Korea , she won the gold medal with the 4 x 100 meter relay. In 2015, she took fourth place with the 4 x 200 meter relay at the World Relays in the Bahamas, and she also reached fourth place in the B final with the 4 x 100 meter relay. Over 200 meters she took part in the Asian Championships in Wuhan , where she was eliminated with 24.25 s in the lead. With the relay she also took part in the World Championships in Beijing , but retired there with 43.18 s as 10th of the preliminary round . Two years later she won the silver medal at the Asian Championships in Bhubaneswar with the relay behind the team from Kazakhstan. In 2018 she again took part in the Asian Games in Jakarta , where she finished sixth in the 200-meter run with 23.51 s. In addition, it was used with the relay in the run-up, which won the silver medal in the final.

At the 2019 Asian Championships in Doha , she won the relay with a new championship record of 42.87 s and finished seventh in the 200-meter run in 23.42 s. Then she finished second behind the French in 1: 32.76 min at the World Relays in Yokohama . With the 4 x 100 meter relay, she qualified for the World Championships in Doha, where she was disqualified in the final due to an alternating error. Then she won the silver medal behind the team from Brazil at the Military World Games in Wuhan in 43.45 s.

In 2017 and 2018, Kong became the Chinese champion in the 200-meter run . She graduated from Beijing Sports University .
