Rima Kaschafutdinowa (born July 24, 1995 in Sätbajew ) is a Kazakh sprinter .

Athletic career

Rima Kaschafutdinowa gained her first experience in international championships at the World Youth Championships in 2011 near Lille , where she was eliminated in the first round over 100 and 200 meters. The following year she took part in the Junior Asian Championships in Colombo and was there in 12.19 s fourth in the 100-meter run . Two years later she took part again in the Junior Asian Championships in Taipei and this time was eighth in the 100 meters and sixth in the 200-meter run . In 2016, she finished seventh over 60 meters at the Asian Indoor Championships in Doha . She qualified for the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , where she 100m was eliminated in the first round and also with the Kazakh Season in advance was disqualified. In 2017 she won the gold medal with the Kazakh relay at the Asian Championships in Bhubaneswar . At the World Championships in London , she retired with the relay in the preliminary round . Two weeks later, she was disqualified with the Kazakh 4 x 100 meter relay at the Student World Games in Taipei in August.

In 2018 she took part in the Asian Indoor Championships in Tehran , where she finished fifth over 60 meters in 7.50 seconds. At the end of August she took part with the relay for the first time in the Asian Games in Jakarta and won the bronze medal there. The following year she retired from the Asian Championships in Doha with 11.95 s in the first round and won the silver medal behind the Chinese team in 43.36 s with the relay. Then she retired with the relay at the World Relays in Yokohama with 43.71 s in the first round. Also at the Summer Universiade in Naples , she was eliminated in the first lap with 12.05 s over 100 meters. With the relay she qualified for the World Championships in Doha, where she was eliminated with 43.79 s in the lead.

In 2016 Kaschafutdinova became Kazakh champion with the 4 x 100 meter relay and in 2018 and 2019 indoor champion in the 60 meter run .
