Olga Evgenewna Safronowa , née Bludova ( Russian Ольга Евгеньевна Сафронова (Блудова) , English transcription Olga Safronova (Bludova) ; born November 5, 1991 in Karagandy , Kazakh SSR , Soviet Union ) is a Kazakh Sprinter .

Athletic career

Olga Safronowa gained her first experience in international championships at the 2007 World Youth Championships in Ostrava , where she was eliminated with 12.61 s in the first round. The following year she was fourth in the 200-meter run at the Junior Asian Championships in Jakarta . She qualified across both disciplines for the Junior World Championships in Bydgoszcz and was eliminated there in the preliminary round. In 2010 she won the silver medal at the Asian Indoor Championships in Tehran with the Kazakh 4 x 400 meter relay and bronze over 60 meters. Shortly afterwards she won the bronze medal over 100 meters at the Junior Asian Championships in Hanoi and originally gold with the 4 x 100 meter relay, but this was withdrawn from her because of a doping offense of her compatriot Yulia Gavrilova . At the Asian Games in Guangzhou , she reached the semi-finals over 100 meters and was disqualified in the preliminary run with the Kazakh 4 x 100 meter relay. In 2011 she took part in the Asian Championships in Kobe , where she finished seventh over 100 meters and fifth over 200 meters. At the Summer Universiade in Shenzhen , she reached the quarter-finals over 100 and 200 meters and at the World Championships in Daegu she was eliminated in the first round in the 100-meter run with 11.63 s.

In 2012 she finished fourth over 60 meters at the Asian Indoor Championships in Hangzhou . She then failed over this distance at the World Indoor Championships in Istanbul and reached the semi-finals at the Olympic Games in London over 100 meters . In 2013 she finished seventh over 100 meters at the Student World Games in Kazan, Russia, and reached the semifinals over 200 meters. At the World Championships in Moscow , she was eliminated over 200 meters in the first round. In 2014, she took silver in the 60 meter silver at the Asian Indoor Championships in Hangzhou, but again did not get past the first round at the World Indoor Championships in Sopot . At the Athletics Continental Cup in Marrakech , she was seventh over 100 meters and sixth over 200 meters and at the Asian Games in Incheon she won gold over 200 meters, bronze over 100 meters and silver in the 4 x 100 meter relay .

At the IAAF World Relays 2015 in the Bahamas , she reached sixth place in the B-final with the 4 x 100 meter relay and won silver over 200 meters and came fourth over 100 meters at the Asian Championships in Wuhan . Furthermore, she was disqualified in the final with the Kazakh sprint relay. At the World Championships in Beijing , she was eliminated over 100 meters and 200 meters in each case. 2016 they again qualified for the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , where they 100 meters and 200 meters was eliminated in the first round and also with the Kazakh Season in advance was disqualified. In 2018, she took part in the Asian Games in Jakarta for the third time , finishing sixth over 100 meters in 11.43 s and fifth over 200 meters in 23.43 s. In addition, she won the bronze medal behind the teams from Bahrain and China with the Kazakh 4 x 100 meter relay in 43.82 s. In the following year Safronowa won with a new championship record of 11.17 s at the Asian Championships in Doha in the 100-meter run and won over 200 meters in 22.87 s, the silver medal behind the Bahraini Salwa Eid Naser . Even with the relay, she secured the silver medal behind the Chinese in 43.36 seconds. At the World Relays in Yokohama two weeks later, she retired with the 4 x 100 meter relay with 43.71 s in the preliminary round. Over 100 and 200 meters, she qualified for the World Championships , which also took place in Doha, where she was eliminated in the first round with 11.40 s and 23.16 s, respectively, and could not compete with the relay in 43.79 s qualify for the finals.

In 2009, 2010 and 2012 as well as in 2018 and 2019, Safronova was Kazakh champion in the 100-meter run , in 2017 and 2019 over 200 meters and in 2016 and 2018 with the 4-by-100-meter relay of her club. In the hall, she secured the championship title over 60 meters in 2010 and 2012 as well as in 2019 and 2020. In 2019, she also became champion in the 4 x 200 meter relay. She completed a coaching course at the State University of Karagandy .

Personal

Safronowa is married to the Kazakh long jumper Konstantin Safranow . Her mother Irina Bludowa was already active as a hurdler and her brother Maxim Bludow started in the high jump.
