Konstanze Feindt Eissner

Konstanze Feindt Eißner (born December 16, 1966 in Dresden ) is a German sculptor and illustrator .

Life

Feindt Eißner began evening graphics studies at the Dresden University of Fine Arts (HfBK) in 1982, and after a year switched to evening sculpture. She completed her studies in 1986. From 1986 to 1989 she studied plastic at the HfBK and received her diploma in 1991. In 1993 she began her freelance work as a sculptor, painter and draftsman. From 1999 to 2004 she was a member of the Dresden Sezession 89 group of women artists . Since 1990 she has been a member of the Federal Association of Visual Artists . From 1996 to 2001 she was a member of the board of the Dresden Artists Association . From 2007 to 2010 she trained at the ALH Haan Fernakademie in the subjects of psychology and alternative practitioners for psychotherapy. From 2008 to 2012 she supplemented her training in systemic art therapy at the Institute and Atelier for Art Therapy Weißig, Dresden, where she has been a freelance lecturer since graduating. In 2010 she created the bronze prize figure for the International Dresden Peace Prize , which has been awarded annually by the Friends of Dresden Germany since then. The first prize winner was the Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Michael Gorbatschow.

Konstanze Feindt Eißner works mainly with the materials marble, sandstone and other natural stones, but also with clay and bronze. Sculptures arise u. a. for public spaces, for sculpture gardens, graves, gardens and interiors.

Konstanze Feindt Eißner lives and works in Dresden. Her first marriage was to the artist and university professor Ulrich Eißner and she has two children.
