Löbschütz is a district of the Saxon community Käbschützal in the district of Meißen .

geography

Löbschütz is located west of the district town of Meißen in the center of the Käbschützal community. Roads lead to Pauschütz and Stroischen , unpaved roads to Löthain and Mauna . The districts of these four locations are adjacent to the Löbschützer local district. It bears the name "Löbschütz / Ja.-Lö." After the former municipality of Jahna-Löthain , to which Löbschütz belonged until 1994. All surrounding places are districts of the municipality Käbschützal.

history

The place was first mentioned in 1205 as a people's seat . In 1378 Löbschütz belonged to the Castrum Meißen in the margraviate of Meißen of the same name . The lords of Wunschwitz exercised the manorial rule . From the middle of the 16th century, the village was part of the Meissen hereditary office, later to the office and court office of the same name . From 1875 onwards, the place belongs to the administrative authority of Meissen .

To the round hamlet Löbschütz in 1900 a 104 extended hectares large block and strip corridor . The main occupation of the population in the village was agriculture . Löbschütz was parish church until 1899 in the monastery of St. Afra , after which it belonged to the parish of Krögis . Of 91 inhabitants in 1925, 87 were Evangelical Lutheran and three Catholic and one person of another faith. On November 1, 1935, Löbschütz, Canitz , Pauschütz , Mehren and Stroischen were incorporated into Löthain. After the end of the Second World War , Löbschütz became part of the Soviet occupation zone and later the GDR . After the administrative authorities were renamed districts in 1939 , the state was reorganized in 1952 as part of the district reform . Löthain and its districts were added to the Meißen district in the Dresden district. Löthain merged with Jahna-Kagen on March 1st, 1974 to form the Jahna-Löthain community .

After reunification and reunification , Löbschütz became part of the newly founded Free State of Saxony and initially remained in the district of Meißen. In the district reform of 1994 , the district of Meißen-Radebeul (from 1996 district of Meißen ) was formed from the old area of ​​the district of Meißen and parts of the district of Dresden-Land , to which Löbschütz belonged until 2008. Also in 1994, Jahna-Löthain, Krögis and Planitz-Deila merged to form the new large community Käbschützal with 37 districts. Since August 1, 2008, this municipality has been part of the third district of Meißen, which was formed from the district of Meißen and the district of Riesa-Großenhain in the Saxony district reform in 2008 .

In Löbschütz, a four-sided courtyard, which is still largely preserved today, with a stable house built in 1828 and various other additions has been included in the cultural monument list for Käbschützal .
