history

The farm hamlet was first mentioned in 1245 as Quaskewicz . In 1378 the place belonged to the "Castrum Meißen", which was located in the margraviate of Meißen . The lords of Schieritz (today part of the municipality of Diera-Zehren ) exercised the manorial rule . From the middle of the 16th century a membership in the hereditary office and later in the office of Meissen is indicated. From 1875 the place was part of the administrative authority of Meißen in the Kingdom of Saxony and later in the Weimar Republic .

In 1900, the demarcation had a size of 141 hectares . The block corridor is represented as the corridor shape . Kaisitz was parish in the St. Afra monastery in Meißen and is now part of the local parish . On November 1, 1935, several municipalities, including Kaisitz, formed the Kagen municipality , which became part of the Soviet occupation zone after the Second World War and later the GDR . The district authorities renamed in 1939 were dissolved in the course of the district reform in 1952 and replaced by districts . Kaisitz was added to the Meissen district, which was in the Dresden district. From January 1, 1969, two new structures followed in Käbschützal. First, Kagen merged with the community of Jahna and its districts to form Jahna-Kagen . This community united with Löthain on March 1, 1974 to form Jahna-Löthain .

After reunification and reunification , Kaisitz came to the newly founded Free State of Saxony and remained in the district of Meißen. For the district reform in 1994 , the district of Meißen-Radebeul (from 1996 district of Meißen ) was formed from the old area of the district of Meißen and parts of the district of Dresden-Land , to which Kaisitz belonged until 2008. Also in 1994, Jahna-Löthain, Krögis and Planitz-Deila merged to form the new large community Käbschützal with 37 districts. Since August 1, 2008, this municipality has been part of the third district of Meißen, which was formed from the district of Meißen and the district of Riesa-Großenhain in the Saxony district reform in 2008 .

In Kaisitz, a stable house built in 1810 with a farm building added in 1906 has been included in the list of cultural monuments for Käbschützal by the Saxon Ministry of the Interior .
