Niederstößwitz is a district of the Saxon community Käbschützal in the district of Meißen .
geography
Niederstößwitz is located to the west of the district town of Meißen in the west of the Käbschützaler municipal area at about 200 meters above sea level . Immediately east of Niederstößwitz is the source of the Planitzbach , which flows into the Käbschütz . This is a tributary of the Ketzerbach , which flows into the Elbe at Zehren . Niederstößwitz is connected to the neighboring town of Planitz by an asphalt road . This road ends in Niederstößwitz and branches into two unpaved roads.
The Niederstößwitz district borders in the north on Planitz, in the east on Deila , in the south-east on Porschnitz and in the south-west on Leippen . With the exception of Leippen, which belongs to the municipality of Ketzerbachtal , all the surrounding villages are part of the municipality of Käbschützal.
history
The place was first mentioned in 1334 as Stisewicz . From the mid-16th century the village was to Erbamt Meissen properly, the manorial first practiced the manor Delia, from 1696 the manor Sornitz and 1764 proportionally the manors Sornitz and Leutewitz out. From 1834 a membership in the district office of Meißen and later to the court office of Meißen is indicated, which in 1875 became the administrative authority of Meißen . Niederstößwitz received the status of a rural community and became independent through the Saxon rural community order of 1838 .
To the impasse village a 106 extended in 1900 hectares large block corridor . The inhabitants of the village mainly operated in agriculture . In terms of church, Niederstößwitz was parish to Planitz and today belongs to the parish of Leuben-Ziegenhain-Planitz. Of the 45 people living in Niederstößwitz in 1925, 44 were Evangelical Lutheran and one Catholic denomination. The independence of the place ended on November 1, 1935 when it was incorporated into the large community of Planitz-Deila . After the end of the Second World War , Niederstößwitz became part of the Soviet occupation zone and later the GDR . In the 1952 district reform , the country was reorganized. Planitz-Deila and its districts were added to the Meißen district in the Dresden district.
After reunification and reunification , Niederstößwitz became part of the newly founded Free State of Saxony . In the district reform of 1994 , the district of Meißen-Radebeul (from 1996 district of Meißen ) was formed from the old area of the district of Meißen and parts of the district of Dresden-Land , to which Niederstößwitz belonged until 2008. Also in 1994, Planitz-Deila, Krögis and Jahna-Löthain united to form the new large municipality Käbschützal with 37 districts. Since August 1, 2008, this municipality has been part of the third district of Meißen, which was formed from the district of Meißen and the district of Riesa-Großenhain in the Saxony district reform in 2008 .
