Lamolior is an uninhabited atoll in the central Pacific Ocean . Geographically, it belongs to the Carolines Archipelago , politically it belongs to the state of Yap of the Federated States of Micronesia . Administratively, it forms with the larger and more populated neighbor Toll Elato the same community ( municipality ) Elato.

Lamolior is located in the east of the state of Yap, 12 km southwest of the Lamotrek atoll and around 40 km southeast of Olimarao . It is over 900 km away from the Yap Islands in the west of the state. It is connected to the neighboring atoll Elato via a 1.5 km long and 20 m below water surface coral bank. Lamolior itself has a length of 3 km, a width of up to 1.5 km and an area of ​​about 3 km². On the south-eastern fringing reef of the atoll are two densely overgrown islands, Toas (9.4 ha area) and Ulor (7.1 ha), which are connected to a double island by a sandbank .
