State government Piesch IV
The Piesch provincial government forms the Carinthian provincial government in the 16th legislative period from the beginning of the legislative period on December 10, 1945 until the resignation of Governor Hans Piesch on April 25, 1949. The Piesch provincial government was succeeded by the Wedenig II provincial government on April 25, 1949 , who served until November 14, 1949.
After the state elections in 1945 , four of the seven government seats went to the Socialist Party of Austria (SPÖ) and three to the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP). With Hans Piesch, the governor was provided by the SPÖ, which also sent the first deputy governor and two regional councilors to the government. In addition to the second deputy governor, the ÖVP provided two state councilors. The government seats were assigned according to the proportional system. There were no changes to the government team during the tenure of the Wedenig government.
