Provincial government Wedenig IV
The provincial government of Wedenig IV forms the Carinthian provincial government in the 19th legislative period from its election on June 1, 1956 to the inauguration of the subsequent state government of Wedenig V on March 30, 1960.
Ferdinand Wedenig (SPÖ) was elected in the first ballot with 19 of 36 votes. 12 ballot papers were left blank (invalid), four were for the MP Hubert Kraus , one vote for Reinhold Huber . The offices of the first and second deputy governor and the offices of the regional councils were assigned according to the proportional system. Compared to the previous term of office, there were only two changes in the state government. In the SPÖ Erwin Pabst was replaced by Hans Sima , the ÖVP nominated Thomas Truppe in place of Alois Karisch this time . Hans Rader was again a member of the state parliament, but had switched from the electoral party of the Independent to the Freedom Party of Austria .
