State government Leopold Wagner II

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The state government Leopold Wagner II formed the Carinthian state government in the 23rd legislative period from the inauguration of the government on March 19, 1975 to the inauguration of the subsequent Wagner III government on October 29, 1979.

Although there were no postponements in the 1975 state elections , the Social Democratic Party of Austria (SPÖ) lost one seat of government to the Freedom Party of Austria (FPÖ). The SPÖ subsequently provided four of the seven members of the government, in addition to the governor, the deputy governor and two provincial councilors. The Austrian People's Party (ÖVP) was able to hold its government seats, which were allocated according to the proportional system, and provided a regional councilor in addition to the second deputy governor. After losing government participation in 1970, the FPÖ returned to the government with a regional council.

Compared to the previous Wagner I government , there was only one change. Instead of the previous state councilor Hans Ausserwinkler (SPÖ), who lost his function as state councilor due to the loss of the SPÖ seat of government, Mario Ferrari-Brunnenfeld moved into the government as state councilor of the FPÖ.
