Provisional state government Piesch I
The provisional provincial government Piesch I formed the provisional Carinthian provincial government , which was founded on May 7, 1945 , the day before the end of the Second World War , and remained in office until June 6, 1945. The provisional state government Piesch I was followed by the consultative state committee Piesch II .
The provisional provincial government of Piesch had ten members, with the Socialist Party of Austria (SPÖ) the governor and two provincial councilors, the Landbund (LB) the deputy governor and a provincial councilor as well as the Christian Social Party (CS) and the Austrian Communist Party (KPÖ) each provided two state councils. In addition, the Provisional Government had an independent representative.
The representatives of the KPÖ were only accepted into the provisional state government on May 8, 1945 by a unanimous decision of the other parties, with Karl Perchtold (KPÖ) being replaced by Josef Hany on May 9 . In addition, Hans Amschl (CS) replaced Josef Ritscher on May 19 .
