List of highways in the Northern Territory
The Northern Territory is the most sparsely populated state in Australia . Despite the low population, it has a network of well-developed highways that connect the two largest cities, Darwin and Alice Springs, with the metropolises of neighboring countries. But also special attractions like the Uluṟu , the Kakadu and Litchfield National Park are within easy reach.
A number of unpaved roads in the outback connect the remote settlements.
