List of Lübeck council syndicists
Here the Lübeck council syndicists are listed as members of the city council. They were in the minutes of the Lübschen state between the mayors and the other councilors. There is evidence that Syndici existed from the 13th century until the constitutional abolition of the Syndicats through the constitutional reform in 1852. The Syndici served as judges at the same time in the Oberhof Lübeck and the other Lübeck courts. The separation of powers was only introduced in Lübeck with the abolition of the Syndicate. This list follows the work of Friedrich Bruns .
