Ludwig Dinnendahl (born August 19, 1941 in Dingden ; † June 20, 2014 in Herzebrock-Clarholz ) was a German sculptor .

Live and act

Ludwig Dinnendahl was born in 1941 in Dingden, a district of Hamminkeln in North Rhine-Westphalia . He completed his apprenticeship as a stone sculptor from 1957 to 1960 . From 1960 to 1962 he studied with Alfred Sabisch in Kalkar ; from 1962 to 1963 he attended the Städelschule in Frankfurt am Main with Hans Mettel . From 1963 to 1966 he studied at the Staatl. Art and craft school in Pforzheim with Willi Seidel and Karl Schollmeyer .

In 1967 Dinnendahl settled in the Beckum district of Neubeckum and opened his studio there.

In 1974 he received a teaching position for plastic design at the University of Applied Sciences in Münster . From 1974 to 2006 he worked as an art teacher at the municipal secondary school in Oelde .

In 2007 Dinnendahl moved to Berlin-Wilmersdorf and opened a studio on Sigmaringer Strasse in Weißensee . He died in 2014 at the age of 73 in Herzebrock-Clarholz in North Rhine-Westphalia.
