Lury-sur-Arnon is a French municipality with 668 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Cher in the region Center-Val de Loire ; it belongs to the Arrondissement Vierzon and the canton Mehun-sur-Yèvre (until 2015: canton Lury-sur-Arnon ). The inhabitants are called Lurois .
geography
Lury-sur-Arnon is about 25 kilometers west-northwest of Bourges and about ten kilometers south of Vierzon on the banks of the River Arnon . Lury-sur-Arnon is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Méreau in the north, Brinay in the east and north-east, Cerbois in the east and south-east, Lazenay in the south, Chéry in the west and south-west and Massay in the north-west
