Graçay is a French commune with 1,447 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Cher in the region Center-Val de Loire ; it belongs to the arrondissement Vierzon and the canton Vierzon-2 (until 2015: canton Graçay ). The inhabitants are called Graçayais .

Graçay is about 32 kilometers west-northwest of Bourges . Graçay is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Genouilly in the north and north-east, Nohant-en-Graçay in the east, Luçay-le-Libre in the south-east, Meunet-sur-Vatan in the south, Reboursin in the south and south-west, Saint-Outrille in the west, Orville in the West and north-west and Anjouin in the north-west.
