At the 2006 European Championships in Plovdiv , Nurudsinau was not so successful in welterweight, because he lost there in the round of 16 against Zoran Mitrovic from Serbia - Montenegro on points (25:28) and therefore finished 9th with all the losers in the round of 16.
The same thing happened to him at the 2007 World Cup in Chicago , where he lost after victories over Mariano Hilario from Spain and Möngöntsoodschyn Nandin-Erdene from Mongolia in the round of 16 against Demetrius Andrade from the United States (6:26) and landed again on the 9th place.
