Marin Ireland
Marin Yvonne Ireland (born August 30, 1979 in Camarillo , California ) is an American actress .
life and career
Ireland was at the Idyllwild Arts Foundation in Idyllwild , California trained and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Hartt School, a Conservatory for Performing Arts at the University of Hartford in West Hartford in the US state of Connecticut .
Ireland made her off-Broadway theater debut in Nocturne (2001), a play by Adam Rapp. Her off-Broadway work includes Caryl Churchill's Far Away (2002) at the New York Theater Workshop. Ireland played the title role in Sabina (2005) directed by Willy Holtzman. In 2008 she starred in the stage version of The Beebo Brinker Chronicles , a series of lesbian pulp fiction novels by Ann Bannon . For her role in the theater -Stück Reasons to be Pretty , she won the 2009 Theater World Award and was responsible for the Tony Award 2009 in the category Best Supporting Actress nomination.
