Mark Damon Espinoza (born June 24, 1960 in Beaumont , Texas ) is an American actor . He gained fame primarily through the role of Jesse Vasquez from the series Beverly Hills, 90210 .

life and career

Born in Beaumont, Texas, Mark Damon Espinoza began his acting career in the theater after graduating from the Circle in the Square Theater School in New York City . His first stage role was that of General Santa Ana at the Mary Moody Northern Amphitheater in Galveston in 1983. He later performed at the prestigious Goodman Theater in Chicago . Further collaborations also took place with the International Theater in Frankfurt am Main and with the Frankfurt Opera .

Espinoza has also been active in film and television since 1993. He took his first role in the film On the Run . In the same year he was cast for the role of Jesse Vasquez , whom he played in Beverly Hills, 90210 until 1995 .
