Marvede Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Sjælland in southern Denmark . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Øster Flakkebjerg Herred in what was then Sorø Amt , then to Næstved Kommune in Storstrøms Amt , which became part of the “new” Næstved Municipality in the Sjælland region on January 1, 2007 as part of the municipal reform .

The parish has 602 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2020). The church “Marvede Kirke” is located in the parish.

Neighboring communities are in the north Kvislemark Sogn , in the northeast Hyllinge Sogn , in the southeast Karrebæk Sogn and in the west Fyrendal Sogn .
