Fodby Kirke

Fodby Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Sjælland in southern Denmark . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Øster Flakkebjerg Herred in what was then Sorø Amt , then to Næstved Kommune in Storstrøms Amt , which became part of the “new” Næstved Municipality in the Sjælland region on January 1, 2007 as part of the municipal reform .

The parish has 704 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2020). The church "Fodby Kirke" is located in the parish.

Neighboring communities are Herlufsholm Sogn in the north-east, Sankt Peders Sogn in the east, Sankt Mortens Sogn in the south-east, Karrebæk Sogn in the south-west and Vallensved Sogn in the north-west .
