Fensmark Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Sjælland in southern Denmark . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Tybjerg Herred in what was then Præstø Amt , then to Holmegaard Municipality in Storstrøms Amt , which was incorporated into Næstved Municipality in the Sjælland region on January 1, 2007 as part of the municipal reform .

5133 inhabitants live in the parish, 5061 of them in the parish (as of January 1, 2020).

In the parish is the church "Fensmark Kirke".

Neighboring communities are Holme-Olstrup Sogn in the east, Holsted Sogn in the south-west, Rislev Sogn in the west and Herlufmagle Sogn in the north - west .
