Toksværd Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Sjælland in southern Denmark . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Hammer Herred in what was then Præstø Amt , then to Holmegaard Municipality in Storstrøms Amt , which was merged into Næstved Municipality in the Sjælland region on January 1, 2007 as part of the local government reform .

1640 inhabitants live in the parish, 810 of them in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). The church "Toksværd Kirke" is located in the parish.

Neighboring municipalities are Holme Olstrup Sogn in the west, Næstelsø Sogn in the south- west and Everdrup Sogn in the south , and Kongsted Sogn in the neighboring Faxe municipality in the east , Vester Egede Sogn and Bråby Sogn in the north -east and Teestrup Sogn in the north .
