Tyvelse Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Sjælland in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to Harde Tybjerg Herred in what was then Præstø Amt , then to Suså Kommune in Storstrøms Amt , which was merged into Næstved Municipality in the Sjælland region on January 1, 2007 as part of the municipal reform .

305 inhabitants live in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). The church "Tyvelse Kirke" is located in the parish.

Neighboring municipalities are Vrangstrup Sogn in the north, Sandby Sogn in the east, Glumsø Sogn in the south and Næsby Sogn in the west , and Alsted Sogn in the neighboring Sorø municipality to the north .
