Sandby Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Sjælland in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to Harde Tybjerg Herred in what was then Præstø Amt , then to Suså Kommune in Storstrøms Amt , which was merged into Næstved Municipality in the Sjælland region on January 1, 2007 as part of the municipal reform .

483 inhabitants live in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). In the parish is the church "Sandby Kirke".

Neighboring municipalities are Tybjerg Sogn in the southeast, Herlufmagle Sogn in the south and Glumsø Sogn , Tyvelse Sogn and Vrangstrup Sogn in the west , and Vetterslev Sogn in the neighboring Ringsted municipality to the north .
