Holme Olstrup Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Sjælland in southern Denmark . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Hammer Herred in what was then Præstø Amt , then to Holmegaard Municipality in Storstrøms Amt , which was merged into Næstved Municipality in the Sjælland region on January 1, 2007 as part of the local government reform .

1453 inhabitants live in the parish, 1196 of them in the parish of Holme-Olstrup (as of January 1, 2020). The church "Holme Olstrup Kirke" is located in the parish.

Neighboring communities are Toksværd Sogn in the east, Næstelsø Sogn in the south, Rønnebæk Sogn in the south-west, Holsted Sogn and Fensmark Sogn in the west and Herlufmagle Sogn in the north- west , and also in the northeast neighboring Faxe municipality Teestrup Sogn .
